Ok, I lied. I really can’t think of 97 reasons. But here are the ones I can think of.

1. It's the simplest and most straightforward RO (reverse osmosis) unit made. No frills. It’s made for performance.

2. The filter cartridges are the tough and effective Omnipure Q Series. Used everywhere commercially, they're easy to find, easy to replace. They never leak, and you can replace them without spilling a drop.

3. The reverse osmosis membrane is encapsulated. This means that changing it (which will probably be necessary about every three or four year) is done by simply removing 3 quick-connect fittings and snapping in the new membrane.

4. No tools are needed to service the membrane or the filters.

5. The unit is capable of making up to 36 gallons of water per day. That's more water than a dozen average sized families need. The membrane refills the storage tank when water is taken out at the rate of about 1 1/2 gallons per hour.

6. The filters are extra large. 12" long, for extended performance.

7. The unit installs with only 4 easy connections. All connections are made with genuine “John Guest” push-in fittings. (Even your plumber can install it, if you'll read him the instructions.)

8. No tools needed to service the unit. Servicing the tank requires one high–tech tool—a bicycle pump.

9. Since everything is encapsulated and the inner parts are never touched by human hands—not even yours—the unit is a very clean operator. It never needs sanitizing!

10. Unlike tightly built, complex manifold–style units, our Q 36 Series has parts that are all easily accessible—so it’s very easy to repair. We can tell you how to fix it on the phone.

All parts are out in the open, so the unit is easy to understand and easy to repair. Membrane change requires removal of three tubes from John Guest quick connect fittings. The only tool you need is your thumb nail. (These units are not recommended for people without finger nails.) It's built on an oversized bracket to give you full access to parts. The membrane ports (not visible in the picture) are clearly marked and color coded so there can be no doubt about which tube goes where during membrane changes.

11. In the unlikely event that you would ever need to return it to us for service, simply removing the cartridges makes the entire unit fit into a shoe box for easy shipping!

12. As with other products we sell, we offer complete phone support for installation, cartridge selection, and repairs.

13. Two year guarantee covers everything but the replaceable filters, but the unit will last virtually forever.

14. There’s nothing on the unit that you can’t fix yourself.

15. Standard faucet is the old faithful Li Kuan long reach, an extremely dependable faucet.

16. Tubing is factory attached to inlet valve for easy installation. You’ll be surprised how easy this makes inlet installation.

17. Color coded and clearly labeled so that it’s easy to install, easy to service, and easy to talk about on the phone.

18. Alternate tank, faucet, and cartridges available if you call for details.

19. Uses the same metal storage tank as our top quality Black & White units.

20. When it to installation, it's a very versatile unit. Though it normally hangs on the wall, it can lie on its back, or simply be wedged into a tight spot under the sink.

21. Standard postfilter is coconut shell carbon for great tasting water.

22. The Q 36 units use the same Payne control system that's used on our super performing Black & White units.

23. Includes a John Guest check valve in the drain line for backflow prevention.

24. Optional faucets are available.

25. It's extremely light weight, which makes installation a snap.

26. The membrane has built in check valve and flow restrictor. This means that each time you replace the membrane, you're also replacing these vital parts and renewing the unit's performance to brand new status.

27. The built-in check valve and flow restrictor also make changing to a different membrane size totally hassle free. We can supply other membrane sizes upon request that will snap right in to your existing unit making it capable of up to 150 gallons per day!

28. Performance is great. The carbon filters are both top-grade coconut shell carbon in the extra-length version. Each of the two carbon filters is rated for 2500 gallons of chlorine reduction, and coconut shell carbon is regarded as best in the in the industry at removal of volatile organics, chloramines, and in taste improvement.

29. Two very slow passes through 12" coconut shell carbon cartridges produces great tasting water!

30. The membrane is by General Electric through its affiliation with the long-experience membrane maker, Osmonics. The membrane is the marriage of an innovative style with the proven reliability of an old performer.
