Compact Triple Undersink Filter

This unique compact triple undersink filter adds an extra inline filter to our very popular double filter. The inline stage could be a sediment prefilter to remove particulate down to five microns, a high quality KDF/carbon prefilter to reduce heavy metals, chlorine, organics and inorganics and greatly add to the life of the two large-vessel filters, or a high capacity 10-inch granular coconut shell carbon unit to give extended chemical capacity.

Great variety is possible with this format. The unit pictured at right, for example, is one we designed for a well-water customer with water of uncertain bacterial status and a slight hydrogen sulfide taste/odor problem. Stage 1 (left vertical) contains a Doulton sterasyl ceramic cartridge to remove bacteria and cysts. Stage 2 (right vertical) is our specially formulated cartridge which contains 1.5 pounds of KDF 85 and Calgon catalytic granular carbon to reduce sulfide, heavy metals, and any chemical contaminants that might be present. Stage 3, the horizontal inline, is an Omnipure granular carbon unit to enhance taste/odor and remove any remaining chemicals.

This unit uses all John Guest quick-connect fittings for very easy inline cartridge replacement.
