These fine home reverse osmosis units are built with Omnipure Q Series filters and membranes. In addition to being top performers, they are designed to be the easiest possible reverse osmosis units to install and to service. They require only a twist of the wrist to change either the filter cartridges or the membrane element. Installation requires only four push-in connections.

The filter cartridges used are either the 10" or the extra-length 12" version of Omnipure's Q Series filters. They have large capacity (2000 to 3000 gallons) and feature Omnipure's quick-connect screw-on design that allows you to change the filter cartridge as easily as you change a light bulb. Each of our units uses one Q Series carbon block filter and one granular carbon taste/odor-grade cartridge so that the water passes slowly through two long columns of the finest filter carbon. For water with significant sediment problems, we add a five micron sediment cartridge in the same Q Series format or (your choice) a less expensive to replace Omnipure filter of another style.

The membrane used for both styles in the Q Series 35-gallon-per day thinfilm (TFC) built by Osmotik, one of the nation's leading membrane makers. Like the filter cartridges, it's an encapsulated unit that can be changed simply by screwing it off its cap and screwing in a replacement. It has all flow control devices built in, so you won't have to change them when you replace the membrane.

We're currently selling our Q Series units at the same low price as our standard Black & White systems. There's a lot less choice in filter styles in the Q Series, but the convenience and performance will impress you. Under normal use conditions, these units can go 12 months between filter cartridge changes, and you won't spill a drop of water when you service them. The only service tools you'll need are a Total Dissolved Solids meter, which we supply free to out-of-town customers, and a bicycle pump.

We're currently offering two models:

Style A. Three-stage unit with a carbon block prefilter, a 35-gallon per day easy change encapsulated membrane, and a granular activated carbon post filter.

Style B. A four-stage unit with a sediment prefilter, a carbon block prefilter, a 35-gallon per day membrane, and a granular activated carbon post filter.

These units use the same top-grade accessory parts (faucet, inlet valve, etc.) as our Black & White series. (Go here for pictures of faucet and other accessory parts.) This is probably the world's easiest to install reverse osmosis unit. Both inlet valve and faucet come with tubing already attached, and all four connections you'll have to make to the unit are with John Guest push-in fittings--no tools needed. These fine RO units are tested before shipment to assure years of high performance and trouble-free service.

The price for either of the units above is only $368, which includes shipping and a free TDS (Total Dissolved Solids) tester. Our Q Series units also have the same three-year warranty as our Black & White models.
