Using John Guest Quick Connect Fittings

Be sure the tubing is cut squarely on the end.

Push in until tube hits bottom. Be sure you feel it hit bottom. The connection is secure.

Should you need to release it, push in collet with fingernail and simultaneously pull out on tubing. (Will not release if there is pressure on the fitting.)
