We have a large number of full-sized undersink Asian reverse osmosis units that we would like to have a smaller number of. Why we have so many of these is a long story, but I’d say most of it is related to the poor judgment of someone who isn’t me.

When I saw that many giant boxes of RO units were taking over my work spot, I decided to put my foot down.

So, I whacked a few twenty dollar bills off of what they planned to sell these immigrants for. For $129 I won’t be making enough to buy myself a falafel sandwich, but I’ll have room to walk around again.

What It Is and What It Isn’t

What it isn’t is the best and most wonderful undersink RO unit ever built. What it is is a very good copy of many of the better RO units on the market.

Main unit and tank. Note that the vertical filter housings are (for no apparent reason) spaced far apart to take up more space under your sink!

The RO unit is complete. Everything you need to install. Note the Filmtec-like thinfilm reverse osmosis membrane. The faucet is in the box, but it looks so much like this one, you can't tell them apart.

The filter cartridges and the RO membrane are standard sized. In fact, the unit can use exactly the same replacements as our more expensive units. The ERO Economy Pack (see fc999) sold for our regular Flowmatic Economy unit makes a perfect replacement set. The original membrane can be replaced with any standard-sized membrane.
