Below are Pura’s whole house ten-gallon-per minute series of single (UV20-1), double (UV20-2), and triple (UV20-3) units. The single unit features UV lamp only. The double unit is UV plus either a sediment filter or a carbon block filter. The triple unit features UV lamp preceded by a sediment and a carbon filter. They provide ample flow for an entire home.

A Clean, Safe Technology that Provides Bacteria-Free Water Without the addition of Chemicals or additional contaminantsUltraviolet is a safe, clean, easy to maintain method of assuring that water is free of bacteria. It is a proven technology that has no significant drawbacks. In some applications, its initial cost is a bit more than chlorination, but because of its low operating cost, it quickly pays for itself. It is essentially trouble-free. Most systems require only an annual change of lamp—like changing a light bulb—and a change of filter cartridges if the unit has accompanying filters.

Lamp Out Option ExplanationA Lamp Out Circuit provides an automatic shutdown if the lamp is not functioning for whatever reason. This protects against contamination of the system by passage of untreated water. A “normally closed” lamp out circuit plus a solenoid valve will shut down your unit completely in the event of lamp failure. All Pura units comes with a visual monitor system that allows you to see if the lamp is not functioning. The lamp out circuit serves as an added safety feature. When ordering, please tell us in the “Comments” section of the order form the diameter of the pipe you’ll be installing the solenoid valve on.

Replacement Filter Cartridges
One of the great advantages of Pura systems is that in every case they use standard-sized filter cartridges. This means that sediment and carbon cartridges can be replaced either with Pura brand cartridges or with the many excellent cartridges that other manufacturers offer in the same sizes.
